St Thomas Library Home

 History:

The St. Thomas Library opened on April 13, 1977 in the former United Methodist Church building across the street from St. Thomas Elementary School.  The library was originally opened three hours a day, four days a week.  The original collection consisted of approximately two thousand volumes.  

On May 1, 2004, St. Thomas Library moved into the second floor of the St. Thomas Volunteer Fire Company building.  The library in now open four hours a day, five days a week and 8 hours one day a week.  It is a home to a collection of almost ten thousand items.
