This program will help build muscles, promote flexibility, increase endurance, and improve balance.  Healthy eating habits will also be discussed.  Please bring light weights, water, and a towel.  Wear comfortable clothes along with sneakers and socks.  Open to men and women.  Free.  Come get healthy with us.

"Let's Get To The Root Of It!" Potato Chip Taste Test Night (5:30 pm - 7:30 pm)
Join us as we dig into the root of it to find out who invented the potato chip and to participate in tasting various brands of potato chips to find out what the favorite chip is of the families of the Library! We will also be comparing the nutritional value of each brand of potato chip tested! :)

Chidlren's Summer Reading Program For Ages 3-5 (11:00 am - 12:00 - noon)
Childrens' Summer Reading Program for Ages 3-5.  There will be stories, games, music, and crafts during this fun filled hour.  We request that an adult accompanying child or parent stay with the child in the program area during this event.  Please pre-register for this program in the children's room of the library.  This free program is open to the public.   Come join us!


Summer Movie-Rescuers Down Under (12:30 - noon - 2:30 pm)
Movie-Rescuers Down Under. Open to children ages 14 and under, and their parents.  Popcorn provided.  You may bring your own snacks and drinks. Please bring pillows to get comfortable! Come and Enjoy!  Please sign up in the Library.  Open to the public. Free.


Bone Strengthening And Muscle Building (1:00 pm - 2:00 pm)
This program will help build muscles, promote flexibiliy, increase endurance, and improve balance.  Healthy eating habits will also be discussed.  Bring light weights, water, and a towel.  Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers and socks.  Open to men and women.  Free.  Come get healthy with us!

Open Studio For Arts And Crafts (1:30 pm - 4:00 pm)

This workshop focuses on your projects, in your own way and in your own time.  You can do anything you can bring the setup for - materials and supplies.  You will receive support and help from students and teacher, and learn how to work more creatively and effectively toward your own goals.  Open to the public, but please sign on in the library with subject (if possible) and which form of art you are pursuing.

Current students are working in watercolor, fabric arts, drawing, pastels, computer aided design.  Demonstration classes have been held in papermaking, book arts, tile arts, food art, floral art and watercolor.  If enough students show an interest, demonstration classes in a particular medium will be added.
