SUBJECT: Coyle Free Receives New Furniture by Bequest

Coyle Free Library staff and patrons are enjoying the wonderful additions to the library which were funded by the Joe and Emmy Gotwals bequest to CoyleFriends. The bequest provided for a delightful reading nook for children in the youth room as well as three new comfortable chairs on the main floor for adult readers.
	The Gotwals bequest also allowed the library to purchase a new, larger and much needed bookdrop that has been invaluable especially over holiday closings. In addition to the other items, part of the cost of “The Unique Experience,“ a four session readers seminar with 27 enthusiastic participants was designated as part of the contribution to CoyleFriends. The Coyle staff particularly appreciates the bequest as the library system faces state budget cuts of 35% for 2003-04. These additions could not be purchased with the current budget situation.
