Grover's Den First Wednesday events:

Grove will continue to hold a First Wednesday event for our seniors, every month, at 2 p.m.   We will not have a program on July third.

 Our Summer Reading Program, Dig into Reading, has begun!  We have programs for Adults, Teens and Children.  Prizes, Prizes, and more Prizes available!  Totem Pole Tickets will be featured in our Early Bird Drawing! Grand Prize: 2 Kindles for one lucky adult and one lucky teen reader!  You only have to read and log three books to be eligible!  Did you know your participation in summer reading programs also assists Grove Family Library? Sign-up any time. Read 5 books, you can choose one from our cart to keep! (limit, two books, please).

The library wishes to thank many local businesses who have generously donated prizes: Arby's, Brother's Pizza, Bruster's, Chipolté, Cluggy's Family Amusement Center, Fuddrucker's, Future Vision, the Franklin County Library System, Giant, McDonald's, Meadows, Nellie Fox Bowl, Olive Garden, Taco Bell, and the Totem Pole Playhouse.

Teen Movie Night, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Thursday, June 20, 6 - 8 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.

Origami Class, Monday, July 1, 1:30 - 3 p.m. For children and teens ages 10 and up. Please sign up at the library.

Bone Strengthening & Muscle Building Classes.  Every Monday & Wednesday 1 - 2 pm. June, July & August ~ Except for August 7th. A great program to encourage seniors (men and women) to exercise to keep flexibility and strength.  Come Prepared for a great workout! You may bring light weights if you have them.

Amelia Bedelia's Fiftieth Birthday Party! Tuesday, June 25, 1 - 3 p.m.  Please sign up at the library.

Wednesday movie series resumes, for children 14 and under.  Wednesdays, 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. starting June 19th.  Please sign up at the library.

Arts Express, every Friday morning, beginning July 5, from 9:30 - 11 a.m. Various forms of culture, including art and dance programs, for elementary school age children, from entering first grade through having completed fifth grade.  Advance sign up is required at the library.

Back by Popular Demand: Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest! for children ages 14 and under. Tuesday, July 16, 11:30 - 1:30 p.m. Prizes will be given out for first, second, and third place drawings.  Come join the fun!

Fourth Annual Book Bag Bingo and Bake Sale, Tuesday, July 23, 6 - 8 p.m. One dollar per Bingo card, good for the whole two hours of play.  First winner of each game wins a bag of goodies!  Fun for the entire family! Books will be sold following the program. Proceeds benefit tween programs.

Teen Programs, every Thursday night through the summer, from 6 - 8 p.m. June 20th, Movie, Indiana Jones; June 27th, Scavenger Hunt; July 11th, Movie, National Treasure; July 18th, Karaoke Night; July 25th, Kickball at Norlo Park; August 1, Beading Class (make a bracelet); August 8, Wii Night; August 15th, Movie, Jurassic Park. Bring your friends and make new ones.

Appliqué Group! First Monday of each month, 6:00 p.m. Bring your project and your supplies, and all your questions. Learn how to make fabric projects truly your own!

Kindly Canines READS Program (Reading Assistance Dogs for Students) will resume after Labor Day.

Card Class, by Billy Morningstar, May's program will begin again in September.

Computer Classes will resume in September.  Jill will help you with your electronic devices this summer, just request an appointment.

Franklin County Art Alliance Program will start again in September.
