Teen Art Contest

Prizes:

13 - 15 year olds 1^st place: $ 50.⁰⁰ 2^nd place: $ 25.⁰⁰

16 - 19 year olds 1^st place: $ 50.⁰⁰ 2^nd place: $ 25.⁰⁰

Rules:

Open to anyone 13-19 years old with a valid Fulton County Library card (free at the library).  Entries must be framed, ready to display, not exceed 20 x 24 inches in size, and must use a wire hanger (not a serrated hanger).  Artwork can be in any medium that can be framed and hung.  All entries must be original artwork submitted by the artist.  Entry form must be completed and attached by artist to back of artwork.

Winners must agree to have their artwork hang in the Fulton County Library, McConnellsburg for one year or the monetary prize will not be given to that artist.

Entries must be submitted:  Saturday, April 6, 2013, 11 AM to 1 PM at the Fulton County Library, McConnellsburg.  Teen’s library card must be shown when submitting artwork.  There is a $5 entry fee which must be paid in cash for each submission or $10 cash entry fee for 3 works by the same individual artist.  (Discount entry fee is only applicable to multiples of 3 by the same artist.)  This fee must be paid in cash when the entry(s) is submitted.

The Fulton County Library reserves the right to refuse to hang and judge any artwork it feels is not appropriate for viewing by all ages.  The Fulton County Library and the Teen Advisory Board are not responsible for any damage which may occur to artwork from time of submission to time of pick up.

All entries will be displayed at the Fulton County Library, McConnellsburg, April 6 through 27, 2013.  Except for the four winners, all artwork must be picked up on Saturday, April 27, during regular library hours 10 AM to 2 PM.  Artwork will not be released early.  NO exceptions.
